BERLIN – Dec. 11, 2025 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig advised WERTGRUND Wohnpartner GmbH, a joint venture between WertGrund Immobilien AG and Bautra GmbH, on the sale of two planned residential buildings in the Liesel Quarter in Göttingen to Catella Investment Management for an individual mandate it manages.
The two buildings, H40 and H50, are scheduled to be completed in 2027 and will be located in the southern part of the quarter, comprising 118 privately financed apartments and a day care center. The Liesel Quarter is being developed on the former Gothaer Versicherung site and covers approximately 37,000 square meters. Around 570 apartments with a total of approximately 44,000 square meters of living space are being built in several construction phases.
Greenberg Traurig advised WERTGRUND on all legal aspects of the transaction, including contract drafting and negotiation.
