Eva M. Spahn

Eva M. Spahn, is a member of the firm's Litigation Practice. She handles complex commercial  and class action matters in various forums, including state and federal courts in multiple U.S. jurisdictions, as well as domestic and international arbitrations before various arbitral bodies. Eva also has experience representing clients in matters involving the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).



  • Obtained final award in favor of Canadian software implementation company in multimillion-dollar international arbitration proceeding brought against it by former client for breach of contract and various fraud-based claims.
  • Obtained arbitration award for damages, fees, and costs on behalf of a Canadian technology company in international arbitration against a major competitor for tortious interference with contractual and business relationships. Obtained confirmation of arbitration award by the Southern District of Florida and an additional award for fees and costs in confirmation proceedings.
  • Participated in conducting internal risk assessment and developing anti-corruption compliance program for multinational retail company with operations throughout Latin America and elsewhere abroad.
  • Defending a building product manufacturer in a series of putative class action lawsuits throughout the United States involving, among others, claims for breach of express warranty, breach of implied warranty of merchantability, breach of applicable state consumer protection statutes, and unjust enrichment.
