ABA's 2022 AI & Robotics National Institute

The 2022 AI & Robotics National Institute, hosted by the ABA Science & Technology Law Section, will take place virtually October 10-11, 2022. The event will focus on understanding the impact of AI on lawyers, their clients, and the practice of law; exploring the changing legal landscape with the latest information about legislation, regulation, and public policy covering AI and robotics; and practical tips for assisting AI and robotics developers and clients with compliance, transactions, liability, risk management, and crisis management.

Greenberg Traurig's Ian C. Ballon, Co-Chair of the firm's Global Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group, will be a panelist during the "Creations of the Mind: Protecting AI and Robotics Intellectual Property" session on October 11. The panel will provide updates on patent, copyright, trade secret, and trademark protection for AI and robotics technologies and brands.
