The California Lawyers Association Privacy + AI Lab will bring together legal and industry professionals to explore the rapidly evolving intersection of privacy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and AI governance, with a focus on practical approaches to managing emerging legal and operational risks.
Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Gretchen Ramos, Global Co-Chair of the firm’s Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice, will speak alongside Andrew Scott of Roblox during Session 3C: Beyond Human-in-the-Loop: Meaningful Review in the AI SDLC, taking place from 1:35 p.m. – 3:05 p.m. PT. The workshop will examine how privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance professionals can evaluate AI products before launch by incorporating human review as an operational control throughout the software development lifecycle. The discussion will address when heightened legal or security review may be necessary and provide a practical framework for integrating AI governance expectations into development processes, incident readiness, risk escalation, and defensible decision-making.
