IPA Compliance Boot Camp

The IPA 2026 Compliance Bootcamp will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Discover in Chicago, Illinois. This one-day, in-person event is designed for professionals in the payments community and focuses on current compliance topics and regulatory challenges.

The first session features Atlanta attorneys Tim Butler (Shareholder) and Matt White (Associate), who will present "Rules, Rewrites, and Litigation - Open Banking US Journey." This session will examine the CFPB's Section 1033 Open Banking rule, which requires financial institutions to provide consumers access to their account data and share it with authorized third parties. Attendees will receive an update on ongoing legal challenges to the rule, potential regulatory changes, and practical considerations for preparing for an evolving open banking framework amid continued uncertainty.
