Julian Campbell

Julian Campbell represents companies and health care providers in products liability, mass torts, medical malpractice, and complex civil litigation in Georgia state and federal courts. He drafts and argues dispositive and evidentiary motions, including motions for summary judgment, Daubert challenges, and motions in limine, and prepares cases for trial from pre-suit investigation through jury instructions. A dual British-American citizen with nearly a decade of international business experience before entering law, Julian approaches defense work the way his clients do, with attention to cost, exposure, and commercial consequences.

Much of Julian’s work centers on building the evidentiary record that decides high-exposure cases. He identifies and retains experts in medical malpractice, products liability, and accident reconstruction, develops challenges to opposing experts, prepares witnesses for deposition and testimony, and assembles trial materials that connect case themes to proof on standard of care, causation, and damages.

Before practicing law, Julian spent nearly 10 years in business development and growth strategy in London, where he co-founded a mobile payments company selected for a technology accelerator, led new business and marketing at an innovation consultancy, and later founded his own go-to-market advisory practice serving venture-backed startups and publicly traded companies. That background gives him direct experience with the executives, general counsel, and risk managers who retain defense counsel, and with the cross-border coordination that international matters require. He has lectured on business development and entrepreneurship at the University of Georgia and in the United Kingdom.

Julian earned his law degree from the University of Georgia, where he served on the Journal of International and Comparative Law and participated in the Business Law and Veterans clinics. During law school, he completed in-house internships supporting an intellectual property group on copyright, trademark, and brand agreement matters, and a product legal team on regulatory compliance, privacy, and commercial contracting. He is a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association.
