Sarah Hancock represents clients in complex commercial litigation, restructuring, and insurance defense matters in federal and state court across Utah and Oregon. She handles disputes involving business torts, breach of fiduciary duty, partnership conflicts, insurance coverage, real estate, and white collar claims, as well as bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings under Chapter 7 and Chapter 11, including Subchapter V reorganizations and involuntary petitions. Her practice spans the full life cycle of a case, from initial pleading through trial preparation, including depositions, substantive motion practice, mediation, and direct client counseling.

Sarah regularly drafts and argues dispositive motions, takes and defends depositions, and guides clients through mediation and settlement. Her bankruptcy background includes representing parties from case inception through resolution, including creditor examinations and contested matters that intersect with civil litigation.

Sarah also maintains an active employment litigation practice, representing employers in federal court as well as before the Utah Antidiscrimination and Labor Division and the EEOC. She handles administrative charges, position statements, mediations, and investigator interviews on behalf of employers facing workplace claims.
