Lucas Kilravey represents a broad range of private equity firms, public companies, and portfolio companies and has significant experience providing real estate support in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures across various industries. He advises clients on deals ranging from multimillion- to multibillion-dollar transactions and with real estate interests ranging from the simplest to thousands of locations and international footprints.

Lucas drafts and negotiates the real estate components of key transactional documents, including asset and share purchase and sale agreements and merger agreements. He coordinates real estate diligence and strategic review, providing clients with succinct and business-focused overviews and advice with respect to real estate matters across a wide range of transactions.

Lucas uses his real estate practice background to support clients throughout their transactions and beyond, with significant experience in leasing matters.

  • Represented The Kroger Company, along with The Albertsons Companies, Inc., in the approximately $1.9 billion sale of 413 stores, as well as select banners, distribution centers, offices and private label brands, to C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC in connection with Kroger’s proposed merger with Albertsons Companies Inc.°
  • Represented Lee Equity Partners in its sale of Cadent Technology, Inc.°
  • Represented Glencore Canada Corporation (a subsidiary of Glencore plc) in its stalking horse bid for certain assets of Li-Cycle Holdings Corp. and certain of its subsidiaries.°
  • Represented a real estate investment and development firm in the structured disposition of a $150 million portfolio of single-family rental communities.°
  • Represented a leading global professional services firm in leasing significant Class A and trophy office space in markets across the United States.°
  • Represented K+S Aktiengesellschaft in the $3.2 billion (CAD) disposition of its Americas salt assets including the historic Windsor Salt mine in Ontario and Morton Salt.°
