Yang Liu is a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice in Greenberg Traurig's Silicon Valley office. Mr. Liu advises high technology clients in the United States and Asia on issues associated with patent infringement, trademark infringement, trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, and unfair competition.

Mr. Liu has represented clients in virtually all stages of litigation in federal courts and before the U.S. International Trade Commission, including fact and expert discovery, claim construction, motion practice, trial preparation, trial, post-judgment disputes, and appeals. His cases have involved wireless communications hardware and software, home security systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, computer monitors, batteries, amorphous metal, smartphone manufacturing and certification process, among others.

Mr. Liu served as a judicial intern for two years to the Honorable Pauline Newman and the Honorable Former Chief Judge Randall R. Rader at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Honorable Former Chief Judge Susan G. Braden at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
