Greenberg Traurig Dallas sponsored the World Affairs Council International Educator of the Year Awards. The award supports the Global Young Leaders program, the Council’s high school education initiative, and honored outstanding North Texas educators for their work to expand international learning opportunities.
The Honoree was Lindsay Johnston. Lindsay Johnston is a teacher at Imagine International Academy of North Texas in McKinney where she teaches multiple grades in International Baccalaureate education. She began her teaching career in 2006. Through her leadership with the school’s Junior World Affairs Council, Lindsay has lead an annual Kosovo Campaign and raised more than $18,000 for demining in Kosovo. She was recognized in 2022 by Prime Minister Kurti of Kosovo for her efforts. She has received many other honors and recognitions throughout her teaching career.
