Japanese Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA) Presentation

Chia-Feng Lu was invited by the Japanese Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA) to present on April 13 on developments in the pharmaceutical industry and related policy considerations affecting Japanese pharmaceutical companies. During the presentation, Chia-Feng addressed the status of the Most Favored Nation (MFN) pricing proposal, including key distinctions among the Guard, Globe, and Generous models, and how pharmaceutical companies may respond to these evolving policy developments. He also guided participants through issues related to the rise of Chinese biotech and its potential implications for U.S. lawmakers and global competition.
