Iris Escarrá was quoted in a Miami Today article titled “Board OK’s 75 Story Brickell Tower on Historic Church’s Land.”
Discussing the proposed development, Escarrá said the project would create inviting public spaces and an activated Baywalk that “encourages community engagement and fosters a lively atmosphere,” while preserving the adjacent historic First Presbyterian Church. The article excerpted a letter she submitted to the City of Miami, in which she wrote, “The project’s striking design responds primarily to human scale and pedestrian interests and will be a positive addition to the Brickell neighborhood.”
