Azlan Mohamed Noh advises investment banks, financial institutions, private equity funds, real estate and infrastructure funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, developers and other institutional investors on fund investments, cross-border public and private M&A (minority and control transactions), joint ventures, strategic collaborations, asset acquisitions, and the development and operation of projects across the Real Estate, Digital Infrastructure, Transport, Health Care and Energy and Natural Resources sectors across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
Based in Singapore but travelling frequently, Azlan’s work includes advising a United States infrastructure fund for the acquisition of data centres in Indonesia, advising a global real estate fund on its joint venture with an Australian data center operator for the development of data centers in Tokyo, advising a European infrastructure fund for the acquisition of a wind farm in Vietnam, advising a joint venture between a Middle East telecommunications carrier and a United States infrastructure fund to develop data centres in the Middle East, advising a joint venture between an Indonesian conglomerate and a European energy company to export renewable energy into Singapore, and advising a Singaporean sovereign wealth fund on a joint venture with an Australian real estate fund for investment into Australian logistics real estate assets.
With more than 15 years of experience in Asia-Pacific, Azlan offers clients a network of local contacts as potential joint venture partners, knowledge of optimal legal and tax structures for cross-border investments, expertise in navigating governmental approval/review processes for foreign investment, drafting and negotiating contractual documents to achieve the commercial intention and fundamental economics of the client, and realistic guidance of local markets and practices to align the expectations of foreign investors.
He has completed in-house secondments with two investment institutions on real estate and infrastructure transactions. A native Australian, he has practiced in Sydney, London, and Singapore, and is fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu, with conversational Bahasa Indonesian.

- Advised a data center platform backed by a United States real estate fund for a joint venture with a Vietnamese telecommunications company and the sale and leaseback, and greenfield development, of enterprise and hyperscale data centers in Vietnam.°
