Zachary S. Schapiro is an associate in the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s San Francisco office. He assists clients with their privacy and data security compliance issues under regulatory regimes, particularly in the EU and United States. Zachary has experience drafting and negotiating data processing agreements, including those involving international data transfers. He also advises clients on their privacy policies and terms of use.



  • Drafted a privacy policy and terms of use for a client’s multi-platform video streaming application.
  • Assisted client with the renegotiations of their data processing agreements.
  • Performed transfer impact assessments and drafted a data transfer agreement for a client’s intracompany international data transfers.
