Madeleine Voigt is a member of the Corporate Practice in Greenberg Traurig's Tampa office. She focuses her practice on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Madeleine was a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Litigation Practice.

- Member of trial team that represented an international aerospace company in related high-profile toxic-tort actions, including a putative class action in which Plaintiffs alleged that emissions from a manufacturing facility contaminated nearby properties and injured persons who lived or worked nearby. Plaintiffs sought injunctive relief, medical monitoring, and monetary damages. Following Daubert motions and expert depositions, Plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed the class action with prejudice. To date, no Plaintiff has survived summary judgment in any of the related cases, and the client has not paid any amount to settle any claim across this entire body of litigation. Following a five-week federal jury trial, in which Plaintiffs sought $790 million, the jury returned a verdict in our client’s favor.
- Member of the trial team that represented the plaintiff, a prominent real estate developer, in a malicious prosecution and abuse-of-process lawsuit filed against a competitor who had attempted to have our client’s $130 million condominium building demolished in prior lawsuits. After years of litigation, including a successful interlocutory appeal vindicating our client’s rights to demand punitive damages and a multi-week jury trial, GT won verdicts of $1.8 million in compensatory damages (the full amount sought) and approximately $6 million in total punitive damages, including $1 million against the competitor’s CEO personally. GT also secured prejudgment interest and attorneys’ fee awards.
