Jared Weir is a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Dallas office.

After completing clerkships with two federal judges, Jared’s practice has included a variety of complex commercial litigation matters. He has represented clients in state and federal court and arbitration in disputes involving oil and gas, antitrust, entity governance, franchises, breach of contract, real estate, trade secrets, cybersquatting, director and officer liability, ERISA, antitrust, toxic tort, bankruptcy, and fraud.

Jared has worked with major corporations on cross-border and foreign regulatory matters.

In 2019, Jared began working on matters related to the oil and gas industry in Guyana. In 2026, after a four-year process, Jared became licensed to practice law in Guyana, making him one of the few U.S.-based attorneys licensed there.
