Demystifying Hiring International Candidates on a Student Visa

Global Immigration & Compliance Co-Chair Kate Kalmykov will serve as the featured speaker at Columbia University’s Career Design Lab, presenting at its Employer Informational Breakfast Series. During this inaugural event, Kalmykov will participate in a “rapid-fire” Q&A session focused on the merits, processes, and costs involved with hiring international students and sponsoring foreign nationals as full-time staff. The Career Design Lab, part of Columbia’s School of Professional Studies, helps connect and engage students, alumni, faculty, and employers in developing a globally-agile and evolving workplace.
