Greenberg Traurig was once again a proud sponsor of the Corporate Counsel Women of Color (CCWC) Career Strategies Conference in Chicago on October 1-4. CCWC was founded in 2004 with the mission to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession. Today, CCWC is the nation’s largest organization for corporate in-house women of color attorneys, who work for Fortune 1000 and Forbes 2000 Legal Departments.
GT hosted a a networking reception on the first evening of the conference to re-connect and meet local contacts and clients or those attending the conference. The following day, Chief Engagement, Culture & Opportunity, Nikki Lewis-Simon, moderated panel discussion, “Leading with Emotional Intelligence: Essential Skills for Leadership”, on Wednesday, October 1 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
