National Business Institute: Data Center Real Estate Issues

Greenberg Traurig co-hosted a practical CLE focused on how data center projects are increasingly surfacing in routine real estate, zoning, and economic development matters before specialized counsel is engaged, and how early-stage decisions can quickly shift leverage and risk. Mark Shaffer delivered a focused presentation on community impact, nuisance claims, and litigation exposure associated with data center development. He examined how disputes often arise from environmental and administrative challenges, as well as conflicts with neighboring landowners and community associations. His session reinforced the importance of early issue spotting to help clients avoid disputes and protect their interests as projects progress.
