Alison “Ali” T. Holdway is a member of the Litigation Practice in Greenberg Traurig's Boston office. She represents clients in all phases of litigation, from early-stage investigations through appeals. She focuses on complex commercial litigation and white collar defense, including DOJ and SEC investigations, state prosecutions, and internal investigations. Ali has experience litigating False Claims Act, civil rights, wrongful death, cybersecurity, medical device products liability, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, breach of contract, unfair or deceptive business practices, breach of fiduciary duty, patent infringement, and general commercial cases, including class action defense. In addition, Ali has considerable legal writing experience and drafts complex pleadings, motions, memoranda, and appellate briefs. She regularly appears before federal trial and appellate courts, as well as state courts in Massachusetts.

In addition, Ali is committed to pro bono legal work. She has represented multiple minors in immigration proceedings before the Immigration Court, state courts with jurisdiction over juveniles, and USCIS. Ali also represented a client whose family was facing eviction. After the client was denied the opportunity to intervene in the Housing Court case on behalf of her minor children, Ali and a colleague appealed to the Massachusetts Appeals Court and then Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, which ruled in the client’s favor.

Prior to joining the firm, Ali served as a law clerk for the Honorable Mark G. Mastroianni in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She also previously worked for a Boston-based law firm where she represented clients before state and federal courts.
