Niyati Loyalka is an associate in the Litigation Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on complex litigation matters, including trade secret disputes, employment-related claims, breach of contract matters, and negligence actions. Niyati assists with all phases of litigation, including legal research and analysis, case strategy development, and drafting demand letters and other pleadings in connection with pre-litigation and litigation matters.
Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Niyati earned her J.D., with honors, from Emory University School of Law, where she served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal and was active in several student organizations, including the Emory Real Estate Society, Intellectual Property Society, and Corporate and Business Law Society. During law school, she interned with the United States Department of Justice in the Northern Criminal Tax Section, where she conducted legal research, drafted memoranda, and assisted attorneys with criminal tax investigations. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Baxter at the Fulton County Superior Court, where she conducted legal research and observed civil and criminal proceedings.
