Jay Nogle is the Chief Information Officer for Greenberg Traurig. He and his staff are responsible for providing all technology solutions to the firm. This includes, security programs and procedures, remote access, email (including archive policies and solutions), eDiscovery support, litigation support, imaging, graphics, automation, emerging technology, extranets, infrastructure, communications, disaster recovery and practice specific solutions to the firm's offices and attorneys. During his over twenty-five-year tenure at the firm, Mr. Nogle has evaluated, designed, taught, and used hundreds of applications for eDiscovery, case management, litigation support, trial presentation, video conferencing, extranets, data forensics, document assembly and specific practice areas. He is also a member of the firm’s eDiscovery and eRetention Practice group and the Administrative Operating Group, as well as GT's Litigation Support Advisory Board and the Cyber Security Committee.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Nogle had over eight years experience as a computer consultant and paralegal working with Washington, D.C. and Florida law firms. He has various certifications regarding eDiscovery and forensics. He has taught numerous courses and seminars on computerized lawyering and law firm computerization, including seminars for the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar and the Professional Development Consortium.

Mr. Nogle has been a board member of West Publishing’s Information Innovators Institute and Traveling Coach’s Customer Advisory Board. He is also a frequent speaker and lecturer. He has been quoted as a legal technology expert in various publications, including The National Law Journal, New York Law Journal, Boston Globe, National Jurist, CIO, PC Week, InfoWorld, and Training Magazine.
