Kenneth Addeo is a member of the Real Estate and Financial Institutions Practices with a focus on commercial lending and asset-based finance transactions.

Mr. Addeo represents commercial banks, saving banks and capital companies in a variety of real estate and asset-based finance transactions, including commercial fee and leasehold mortgages, commercial real estate lending, construction and development financing transactions, and commercial asset-based loan facilities, including aircraft, fine art, hedge fund and private equity financing transactions, as well as representing lenders in loan restructurings, workouts and foreclosures.

Mr. Addeo also represents owners and developers in the acquisitions and development of commercial properties, including retail shopping centers, warehouse facilities, office buildings and undeveloped land.

  • Represented private wealth group of an institutional lender in origination of a $267 million revolving credit facilities and $8 million term loan secured by real estate and a pledge of marketable securities, private limited liability company membership interests and hedge fund interests.
  • Represented a developer in connection with a thirteen property tenant-in-common New York City real estate portfolio conveyance and refinance of approximately $240 million with a CMBS lender.
  • Represented private wealth group of an institutional lender in origination of a $240 million term loan facility secured by a branded hotel in New York.
  • Represented private wealth group of an institutional lender in origination of a $125 million securities, hedge fund and private equity fund secured facility.
  • Represented private wealth group of an institutional lender in origination of a $149 million construction loan facility secured by real estate in Brooklyn, New York.

  • Represented private wealth group of an institutional lender in origination of a $17.5 million revolving credit facility secured by a collection of fine wine.
  • Represented commercial bank in connection with the origination and workout of an approximately $32 million construction loan to multiple borrowers secured by a mixed-use development parcel in Pennsylvania, as well as a pledge of 100% of the equity interests in the co-borrowers.
  • Represented a commercial bank in connection with a $27.8 million term loan secured by a leasehold mortgage on a 400 unit apartment complex located on Roosevelt Island, New York.
  • Represented real estate investor group in preferred equity, tenant-in-common transaction in connection with a retail shopping center in Massachusetts.
  • Represented private wealth group of institutional lender in origination of an approximately $17 million term loan secured by an aircraft.
  • Represented private wealth group of an institutional lender in origination of a $25 million revolving credit facility secured by artwork located throughout the World.
  • Represented private wealth group of an institutional lender in origination of an approximately $5 million term loan secured by a vineyard in Sonoma County, California.
  • Represented community bank in origination and participation of fee and leasehold, first-priority mortgage loan and second-priority building loan secured by industrial property in New York subject to Industrial Development Agency benefits.
