Kenneth Addeo is a member of the Real Estate Practice with a focus on commercial real estate law and asset-based finance transactions.

Mr. Addeo represents commercial banks, saving banks and capital companies in a variety of real estate and asset-based finance transactions, including commercial fee and leasehold mortgages, commercial real estate lending, construction and development financing transactions, and commercial asset-based loan facilities, including aircraft, fine art, hedge fund and private equity financing transactions, as well as representing lenders in loan restructurings, workouts and foreclosures.

Mr. Addeo also represents both landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions, as well owners and developers in the acquisitions and development of commercial properties, including retail shopping centers, warehouse facilities, office buildings and undeveloped land.

  • Represented private wealth group of an institutional lender in origination of a $41 million term loan facility secured by a branded hotel in New York.

  • Represented a syndicate of investment banks in the origination of a $105 million first fee mortgage loan covering an entertainment and retail center in Manhattan.°
  • Represented a syndicate of investment banks in the origination of $57 million construction loan facility for the development of a warehouse/distribution center and office complex in Bethpage, New York.°
  • Represented a commercial lender in the origination of an $89 million first fee mortgage loan (floating rate) covering a hotel located in Bethesda, Maryland.°
  • Represented a commercial lender in the origination of construction, project and land loan mortgages in the aggregate amount of $22.3 million relating to the conversion of a former hospital complex in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to mixed use.°
  • Represented a commercial lender in the origination of land acquisition, site development and construction loans in the aggregate amount of $29 million to finance the construction of 248 single family dwellings in Woodbury, New York.°
