Greenberg Traurig’s Barbara T. Kaplan Presents at American Bar Association Hybrid 2022 May Tax Meeting

NEW YORK– May 13, 2022 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholder Barbara T. Kaplan, co-chair of the firm’s Global Tax Practice, presented at the American Bar Association Hybrid 2022 May Tax Meeting. Kaplan presented on a panel titled “Individual & Family Taxation” May 13.

Panelists included Zeinat Zughayer, Baker Tilly US LLP; Kathleen Bryant, research law associate, New York University Tax Law Center; Gwen Garren, director, refundable credits program management, IRS Wage & Investment; and Nina Olson, executive director, Center for Taxpayer Rights. The panel discussed several issues, including the role of sub-regulatory and Tax Child Tax Credit.

Kaplan, named “Lawyer of the Year,” Litigation and Controversy – Tax, New York City, 2020 by Best Lawyers in America and one of the “top 50 women lawyers in New York City” by Super Lawyers magazine, focuses her tax litigation practice on domestic and foreign corporations, partnerships, and individuals in federal, state, and local tax examinations, controversies, and litigation, including administrative and grand jury criminal tax investigations.
