SEOUL – Nov. 14, 2023 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP represented BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA as lead manager in a Reg. S offering of CHF250 million 2.0275% “Green Bond” notes due 2025 by Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) under its USD2 billion Global Medium Term Note Program. The offering signed Nov. 10 and closed Nov. 14. The notes were listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
KORAIL was established as a statutory juridical corporation under the Korea Railroad Corporation Act in 2005 and is the national railroad operator, providing passenger and freight railroad transportation services throughout Korea.
The Greenberg Traurig attorneys leading the transaction were Shareholder Eun Sang Hwang and Associate Byoungjoo Lee in the Seoul office.
