Paweł Fortuna is a member of the Competition Law Practice at the Greenberg Traurig Warsaw Office. He advises on competition and consumer protection law and foreign investment control. His experience includes representing clients in antitrust proceedings conducted by Polish and EU competition authorities, as well as in appeal proceedings before the courts. Paweł advises on antitrust issues related to M&A transactions and represents clients in merger control proceedings. His experience also includes conducting analyses of the antitrust aspects of market strategies employed by entrepreneurs, as well as their horizontal and vertical cooperation. He also conducts antitrust audits and supports clients during dawn raids and unannounced inspections by antitrust authorities.

  • Advised a multinational manufacturer in the machinery industry in conducting an internal audit to verify allegations of antitrust violations by the client's employees, prepared the audit report and advised on strategic steps in relation to the findings.˚
  • Supported a multinational manufacturer in the machinery industry during a several-day dawn raid of the company's premises and represented the client in the complaint proceedings against the search measures before the court.˚
  • Advised an international manufacturer in the agricultural industry on shaping its distribution system in accordance with competition law.˚
  • Advised an international automotive component manufacturer in structuring the provisions of its supply agreements, including exclusivity, in compliance with competition law.˚
