A. Michael Pratt Hosts Philadelphia Black Harvard Law School Alumni Event

PHILADELPHIA – April 18, 2023 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholder A. Michael Pratt recently hosted a Philadelphia Black Harvard Law School Alumni event April 13 in the firm’s Philadelphia office.

The cocktail reception and mixer honored La-Toya P. Hackney, senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary of Saint-Gobain North America. The event celebrated Hackney, a Harvard Law School class of 1999 graduate, for her outstanding professional excellence in its first in-person post-pandemic event.

“Our Harvard Law School cohort is a small tight-knit group. This was a long overdue opportunity to reconvene in person and celebrate the tremendous professional accomplishments of one of our brightest lights, La-Toya Hackney. We are fortunate and filled with unbridled pride to watch her flourish in her career, and serve as a mentor to so many others,” said Pratt, a 1985 graduate of Harvard Law. “I am grateful to Greenberg Traurig for supporting this memorable event.

The event featured a brief awards presentation and remarks by Hackney, who reflected on her career accomplishments and the importance of mentorship. A live trio from the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts provided the evening’s entertainment.
