Greenberg Traurig Atlanta’s Richard Valladares Appointed as Master of Bleckley Inn of Court

Georgia Supreme Court Justice Appoints Valladares for Strong Trial Experience and Leadership

ATLANTA - Sept. 23, 2024 – Richard J. Valladares, administrative shareholder of the Atlanta office and chair of the Atlanta Business Litigation Practice of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was appointed as a master of the esteemed Bleckley Inn of Court. This invitation comes from Georgia Supreme Court Justice Shawn Ellen LaGrua, Bleckley Inn of Court Secretary Kelly Cahill Timmons, and the Inn of Court executive committee, recognizing Valladares' significant contributions to the legal field.

The Bleckley Inn is a chapter of the American Inns of Court, a national organization dedicated to improving the quality and professionalism of trial practice. Now in its 33rd year, the Bleckley Inn includes approximately 90 judges, lawyers, and law students. The masters include some of the finest judges and trial lawyers in the Atlanta area. The Bleckley Inn is affiliated with Georgia State University College of Law.

As a master, Valladares will play a crucial role in mentoring less experienced attorneys and law students, furthering the Inn's mission to enhance the quality of legal practice.

Valladares has experience in numerous areas of litigation, including complex business litigation, government law, cyber-breach, class action, construction litigation, products liability, and insurance coverage litigation. He represents a wide array of clients including but not limited to Fortune 500 companies, auto manufacturers, city and state governments, and insurance companies.
