WARSAW – 7 October 2026 – Greenberg Traurig advised Liebrecht & wooD and BBI Development in connection with the entry of AKIPIA, a Czech investment group, into the Roma Tower project, one of the most significant ultra-luxury residential developments currently planned in Central and Eastern Europe. The transaction represents a significant cross-border investment into the Polish real estate market and marks an important milestone in the further development of Roma Tower.
With an estimated project value of approximately EUR 820 million, Roma Tower, developed through a joint venture of leading real estate and investment partners, will redefine luxury living in Warsaw. The 170-metre tower, located at the intersection of Emilii Plater and Nowogrodzka streets in the heart of the city, will comprise 48 above-ground floors and six underground levels, offering 357 residences together with an extensive range of premium amenities, including a private cinema, recreational facilities and a wellness area featuring a 25-metre swimming pool.
The project has secured the building permit, with construction scheduled to commence in autumn 2026 and apartment sales planned for 2027.
Greenberg Traurig advised Liebrecht & wooD and BBI Development on all aspects of the transaction, including the restructuring of the investment arrangements, the disposal of the participation interest, and the negotiation of a comprehensive new joint venture agreement governing the future development of the project.
