DALLAS – April 4, 2018 – Finance attorney Lou Ann Brunenn has joined the Dallas office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP as a shareholder. Greenberg Traurig has more than 125 attorneys in Texas; serving clients from offices in Austin, Dallas, and Houston. She moves from Winstead PC where she was a shareholder.
“The addition of Lou Ann reflects the Dallas office’s strategy of growing key areas of practice important to our clients,” said Joseph F. Coniglio, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Dallas office. “Her experience illustrates the broad range of our corporate finance practice and client base. We are excited to have her join us.”
Brunenn focuses her practice on structuring and documenting secured and unsecured credit facilities for financial institutions and corporate borrowers. She represents lead arrangers and agents in a wide variety of large corporate and middle-market syndicated transactions, including cash flow and asset-based facilities, acquisition financings, sponsor-led financings, letter of credit facilities, and multi-currency facilities. Her practice includes loan originations and the workout and restructure of distressed debt.
“Greenberg Traurig’s geographic reach, stature, and capabilities are very attractive to me and my financing clients. The ability to leverage the firm’s platform will allow me to expand the expertise that I can offer my clients,” Brunenn said. “I am delighted to join the firm and be a part of this talented team.”
Brunenn received her J.D., cum laude, from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in 1994. There, she was Leading Articles Editor for the SMU Law Review Association and a member of the Order of the Coif. She received her B.S., cum laude, in 1991 from Texas Christian University.
