Appellate Practice

Greenberg Traurig Orlando Summer Associates are proud to participate in the 2025 Summer Series, presented by the Bench Bar Fund of the Middle District of Florida and the Orlando Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, designed for law students and young lawyers working in Orlando and surrounding areas. While your first year of law school likely introduced you to appellate advocacy, this event offers a chance to deepen that understanding by observing an oral argument before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, followed by a panel discussion with experienced federal appellate practitioners. The panel will include Shareholder Gregory Herbert, along with both criminal and civil practitioners, who will discuss key differences between trial and appellate practice and answer audience questions.
