Kate Kalmykov to Moderate and Host Event Focusing on Portuguese Golden Visa Program

NEW JERSEY and NEW YORK – June 7, 2022 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholder Kate Kalmykov, Co-Chair of Immigration & Compliance Practice will moderate a discussion titled “Exploring Immigration / Second Residency to the EU: Portugal Golden Visa Program” June 16 at 11:30 am in the Firm’s New York office.

This program will highlight the Golden Visa Program in Portugal, the 4th safest country in the world according to the Global Peace Index. The Portuguese Golden Visa program is a residency by investment program that leads to European citizenship that has grown exponentially in popularity since its inception in 2012.

Kalmykov Co-Chairs the Immigration & Compliance Practice. She focuses her practice on business immigration and compliance. Kalmykov represents clients in a wide-range of employment based immigrant and non-immigrant visa matters including students, trainees, professionals, managers and executives, artists and entertainers, treaty investors and traders, persons of extraordinary ability and immigrant investors. Kalmykov has deep experience working on EB-5 immigrant investor matters. She regularly works with developers across a variety of industries, as well as private equity funds on developing new projects that qualify for EB-5 investments.
