Cameron Liljestrand focuses his practice on defending employers in a broad range of employment-related disputes in state and federal courts, including matters involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage-and-hour issues, and restrictive covenants.  

Cameron has experience handling class and collective actions in both state and federal courts, including claims brought under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and wage-and-hour laws. His litigation experience includes opposing class certification, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, and managing all phases of discovery, including depositions. He also has appellate experience in both state and federal courts, including matters involving BIPA class actions, general negligence claims, and insurance coverage disputes.

Beyond his litigation practice, Cameron counsels employers on compliance and risk management matters. He regularly assists clients in responding to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) investigations, including drafting position statements and guiding employers through the administrative process. Cameron also conducts workplace investigations involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, and wage disputes, and advises clients on the development and revision of employee handbooks and workplace policies.

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Cameron gained experience across a wide range of litigation matters, including professional liability, business disputes, negligence claims, and both single-plaintiff and class action cases.
