Justyna Wilczyńska-Baraniak heads the Tech, Cyber, IP & Data practice at Greenberg Traurig’s Warsaw office. She advises Polish and international clients on technology transactions and projects in the areas of IP, data, and cybersecurity, particularly for highly regulated sectors (including finance, telecommunications, energy, life sciences, media, and e-commerce).
In her practice, she effectively combines a business perspective with a regulatory one, translating complex legal requirements into practical solutions that enable the secure implementation of technology and the efficient closing of transactions.
She regularly coordinates complex international projects involving legal teams across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring consistency in approach, work pace, and the achievement of the client’s business objectives. Justyna supports clients in implementing cloud solutions and artificial intelligence projects, ensuring their compliance with the AI Act. Her focus also includes drafting and negotiating IT and SaaS agreements, as well as advising on DORA, UKSC (NIS2), personal data protection, and cybersecurity incident response.
A particular area of her in-depth experience is transactions in the defense and security sector, including technology transfer, intellectual property licensing, and the negotiation of strategic contracts, along with comprehensive regulatory support and the protection of key know-how. Her experience also includes handling unfair competition and patent disputes, as well as assisting clients in enforcing intellectual property rights within the European Union market.

- Represented entities in the media sector in copyright and regulatory matters, including in connection with work on the implementation of the DSM Directive.°
