Jeff E. Scott, Greenberg Traurig’s Global Co-Chair of Litigation Practice, Recognized as ‘Litigation Attorney of the Year’ by Los Angeles Business Journal

LOS ANGELES – October 30, 2018 – Jeff E. Scott, co-chair of the Global Litigation Practice and co-managing shareholder of the Los Angeles office at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was named the “Leaders in Law: 2018 Litigation Attorney of the Year” by the Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ).

The LABJ Leaders in Law Awards recognize the significant role and the accomplishments of leading attorneys and their firms within the Los Angeles business community. Those named for each category are recognized for exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership, and for contributions to the Los Angeles community at large. Scott and other award recipients were honored at a dinner October 17, 2018 at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel.

Scott handles sophisticated litigation matters and has served as lead trial counsel for clients in many cases tried before judges, juries, and arbitrators. He focuses his practice on consumer protection class actions, entertainment and intellectual property litigation, complex commercial litigation, partnership and corporate disputes, real estate litigation, unfair competition defense, and alternative dispute resolution.

As co-chair of the Global Litigation Practice and a member of the firm’s Litigation Executive Committee, Scott provides strategy and direction to the firm’s largest practice group of more than 600 attorneys worldwide. His firm leadership has previously included co-chair of the National Class Action Litigation Group.
