MIAMI – Feb. 18, 2022 – Jaret L. Davis, co-managing shareholder of the Miami office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., will facilitate a virtual discussion during The Miami Foundation’s annual State of Black Philanthropy at 6 p.m. Feb. 23.
Currently in its seventh year, State of Black Philanthropy brings together community leaders, artists, philanthropists, and local organizations working to strengthen Greater Miami’s Black communities, according to the Miami Foundation website. The event aims to unite the community for a program of dialogue, art, and renewed commitment to racial justice and equity.
Davis will facilitate a conversation including Kerry-Ann Royes, president and CEO of YWCA South Florida, and Shane Battier, founder of the Battier Take Charge Foundation.

In addition to his practice, Davis serves in several civic capacities that allow him to give back to the community. He is the co-founder and general counsel of the eMerge Americas global technology conference, serves as chairman of the board of directors of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, sits on the board of directors of City National Bank, and is the community representative director of The Adrienne Arsht Center Trust.
