GT is a sponsor of the 2021 ANA/BAA Marketing Law Conference November 15-17 taking place both virtually and in-person at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. The conference will provide learnings and practical advice from deep dives on the broadest variety of today's marketing, advertising, and privacy legal concerns, including the onslaught of state and international privacy restrictions, social media, influencer, real-time, retail store, and entertainment and experiential marketing.
On November 15, GT Shareholder Ed Chansky (LV) will speak on the "Cause Marketing" session, discussing the latest developments affecting cause marketing, including charitable sweepstakes, legislative initiatives for online fundraising platforms, and the convergence of cause marketing with sustainability and environmental social governance (ESG) programs. Also on November 15, GT's Gretchen Ramos, Global Co-Chair of the Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice, will be a panelist on the session, "Marketing to Multicultural Communities Opposing Forces/Diversity/Inclusiveness vs. Privacy Limits." On November 16 GT's Erica Okerberg (LV) will moderate a roundtable session on gambling. GT will also be hosting a dinner on November 16 at Lou & Mickey's in conjunction with the conference.
