LeCompte represents owners and developers of residential and commercial condominiums, multifamily buildings, office buildings, mixed use projects and marinas in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development, leasing, dispositions and financings. Key clients include: Bayview Financial, L.P., GL Homes of Florida, The Related Group, Mast Capital, Rockpoint Group, Kolter, ResiBuilt Homes, Greystar, Kimco, and Albertsons.

  • Representation of The Related Group and its joint venture partners in the acquisition of numerous properties throughout Southern and Central Florida and loan closings for various condominium and multifamily projects, including approximately $940M in 2015.
  • Representation of GL Homes in the negotiation of its various land loans, A&D and construction credit facilities.
  • Representation of Mast Capital in the $72.5 million acquisition of the Conrad Miami Hotel in Brickell. The transaction covers 203 hotel rooms, the rooftop amenity deck, and a rental program for 41 of the 116 condos in the building. 
  • Representation of Swerdlow Companies, as co-counsel in connection with the negotiation of a ground lease with the City of North Miami and $30 million infrastructure loan from Ladder Capital on behalf of a joint venture between Swerdlow Companies and LeFrak Organization.
