New E-Verify Law: Guidelines for Florida Employers with Over 25 Employees to Ensure Compliance by July 1st

Global Immigration & Compliance Co-Chair Kate Kalmykov and Immigration & Compliance Shareholder Nataliya Rymer will present on areas business leaders should consider given the recently enacted E-Verify standard for Florida.

As of July 1, private Florida businesses that employ 25 or more people will be required to implement and use E-Verify, the federal online system that confirms U.S. work eligibility. Businesses who fail to comply with these newly enacted standards for new hires may face fines of up to $1,000 a day and potential state licensure revocations.
