31st Annual Conference of the Forum on Communications Law

Greenberg Traurig is a sponsor of the 31st Annual Conference of the Forum on Communications Law, which will address the most pressing issues facing communications, entertainment, technology, and media law practices. In addition to plenary sessions, the conference will feature interactive workshops on topics including libel and privacy, access and newsgathering, anti-SLAPP, artificial intelligence, social media and advertising, reporters’ privilege, and other emerging issues.

GT Shareholder Ian C. Ballon, Co-Chair of the firm’s Global Intellectual Property & Technology Practice, will serve as a moderator for the luncheon plenary session, “AI: Past, Present, and Future,” alongside Adrian Vallens of Davis Wright Tremaine. With Ian Ballon’s experience as the author of E-Commerce and Internet Law, the discussion will explore artificial intelligence developments, including AI-related copyright issues, legislative proposals addressing AI, and what lies ahead in an era of AI-generated works.
