Greenberg Traurig Litigators Recognized by U.S. News-Best Lawyers, BTI Litigation Outlook, and National Law Journal

NEW YORK – Nov. 4, 2016 – The Litigation Practice of global firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP received two “Law Firm of the Year” recognitions by U.S. NewsBest Lawyers “Best Law Firms” 2017 report: Litigation – Banking & Finance and Litigation – Real Estate.

Greenberg Traurig received the “Law Firm of the Year” designations as a result of “an impressive overall performance” in the evaluation process. According to U.S. News – Best Lawyers, only one firm is named “Law Firm of the Year” for each select nationally ranked practice areas.

For the sixth consecutive year, Greenberg Traurig also received the most overall first-tier rankings and the most first-tier metropolitan rankings. Firms included in the 2017 “Best Law Firms” are recognized for “professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers. Achieving a tiered ranking signals a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise,” according to U.S. News – Best Lawyers.

Recently, the BTI Litigation Outlook 2017 also recognized Greenberg Traurig’s Litigation Group as a “Standout” in the areas of Complex Commercial Litigation, Routine Commercial Litigation, Routine Employment Litigation, and Product Liability. In addition, the report from BTI Consulting Group named the following practices to the “Honor Roll”: Class Actions and Torts, IP Litigation, Securities and Finance Litigation, and Complex Employment Litigation. Greenberg Traurig was also named to the Honor Roll of “The 2017 Fearsome Foursome,” comprising the “Most Feared Firms in Litigation,” for the fourth consecutive year.
