Ashi Colina is a member of the Securities Litigation Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s West Palm Beach office. Ashi represents broker-dealers and registered representatives in all aspects of litigation and arbitration proceedings. She also handles domestic and international white collar and criminal investigations, litigation, enforcement actions, and advises in the rapidly evolving space of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
Ashi was one of thirty international professionals and scholars selected by the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute to participate in its Winter School on Illicit Trade. Prior to joining the firm, Ashi was an associate in New York City where she represented national and international clients in foreign and domestic investigations, litigation, and complex commercial and business disputes. Ashi was also an associate at a national law firm headquartered in Chicago, representing government entities and officials, corporations, and financial institutions in foreign and domestic criminal, compliance, and government-related matters.

- Successfully defended broker-dealer in $3.4MM fraud action brought by creditors of an international coffee exporter; all claims were denied in their entirety.
- Represented non-profit organization in amici curiae brief to the Supreme Court of the United States in Storey v. Texas, Docket No. 24-5791.
- Obtained a protective order in favor of a former judge serving as a mediator in a multi-state, multimillion-dollar business dispute and estate distribution.
- Represented officer of a Fortune 500 broker-dealer in a FINRA investigation and arbitration.°
- Obtained summary judgment in favor of a Fortune 500 financial institution.°
- Obtained reversal on appeal in favor of a veteran-owned logistics services company in a breach of contract and collections action.°
- Obtained dismissal of several charges against a foreign government anti-corruption official in an international bribery, wire fraud, and money laundering case.°
- Obtained dismissal of a series of successive qui tam claims for a government entity in a False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Stark Law action.°
- Obtained the early release of an incarcerated client convicted of fraud.°
- Defense in a multi-national criminal conspiracy case stemming from the assassination of a major foreign politician.°
- Defense in an international and multi-national, multibillion-dollar asset distribution of a Russian oligarch’s estate.°
- Defense of a government office relating to federal bribery and RICO charges against a state politician.°
