Katarzyna Smagacz is a member of the Project and Structured Finance team. She specializes in advising Polish and foreign financial institutions and borrowers on financing renewable energy sources and real estate, including cross-border projects. She assists clients in preparing and analyzing security documentation, as well as in the process of fulfilling conditions precedent to loan disbursement.
Previously, she focused her practice on real estate law, participating in transactions involving the acquisition and sale of real estate and companies, and conducting due diligence on real estate, companies, and assets.

- Participated in the work in providing advise for commercial banks in connection with PLN 610 million financing provided to Polish companies operating in the renewable energy sector.
- Participated in the work for EPP in connection with obtaining refinancing of up to EUR 323.9 million for its shopping center portfolio provided by a consortium of banks.
- Participated in the work for Bank Millennium on a PLN 181 million PV project financing facility granted to R.Power Renewables .to support a portfolio of solar PV projects in Poland with a total capacity of 71 MWp.
- Participated in the work on providing advise for a consortium of banks on the financing of photovoltaic projects located in Poland with an aggregate capacity of several dozen MW.
- Participated in the work on financing projects involving large-scale battery energy storage systems.
- Participated in the work for CloudFerro in obtaining financing of up to EUR 75 million from a consortium of banks.
- Participated in the work on the acquisition of a logistics portfolio valued at approximately EUR 84 million.
- Participated in the work on acquisitions of companies owning logistics properties valued at approximately EUR 80 million.
- Conducted legal due diligence reviews of real estate assets, particularly in relation to construction law, commercial leases and property management.
- Participated in the work on ongoing advice on real estate asset management matters.
