Greenberg Traurig Supported Axpo Polska in connection with a Power Purchase Agreement with DIF Capital Partners

WARSAW – 12 March 2024 – Greenberg Traurig supported Axpo Polska in connection with the negotiations and signing of a power purchase agreement (PPA) for the offtake of energy from six wind farms in Poland with DIF Capital Partners.

Under the partnership with DIF Capital Partners, a Netherlands-based infrastructure fund manager, Axpo Polska will offtake energy from all DIF Capital Partners wind farms in Poland. With a total installed capacity of 171 MW, the facilities will produce an estimated 500 GWh of green electricity a year. The contract provides for spot market settlements, purchase of guarantees of origin, and the provision of balancing services.

The Greenberg Traurig team was led by Konrad Kosicki, Partner and Head of the Energy and Natural Resources Practice.
