Konrad Kosicki is the head of the Energy & Natural Resources Practice in the Greenberg Traurig’s Warsaw office. He focuses his practice on matters related to the acquisition, development, and financing of renewable and conventional energy projects. Konrad advises clients on regulatory issues, trading in electricity and natural gas, green certificates, and other commodities. He also has experience in representing energy companies before common courts and in arbitration proceedings. His experience also includes advising on infrastructure projects such as motorways and stadiums. Konrad often participates in conferences and seminars concerning the energy market, in particular in the field of renewable energy sources and their financing. He is the author of many publications on the subject of energy law and climate change, as well as issues of civil law. In his career, Konrad has practiced law in London, Berlin, and Warsaw.

Experience

  • Represented Axpo Polska, a company from the Axpo Group operating in more than 40 markets, in signing of a wind power purchase agreements (PPAs) in Poland with Energix Group, one of Israel’s largest renewable energy companies.°
  • Represented Axpo in signing of a solar power purchase agreement with R.Power Group, one of the fastest growing large-scale solar energy developers in Europe, for 300 MW of solar power in Poland.°
  • Represented Pacifico Energy Partners in the purchase of several PV portfolios with an anticipated total capacity of up to 250 MW.°
  • Represented Longwing Polska regarding a loan agreement for the construction of the Zalesie Wind Farm with a capacity of 25 MW, located in Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship.°
  • Represented Pacifico Energy Partners regarding the purchase of a PV portfolio with an expected capacity of up to 280 MW.°
