Gabriel Diaz Selected to Join Florida International University’s President’s Council

MIAMI – June 4, 2025 –Greenberg Traurig, P.A.Litigation Associate Gabriel Diaz has been selected to serve as a member of Florida International University (FIU)’s President’s Council for the 2025-2026 term.

The FIU President’s Council comprises business and civic leaders who serve as brand ambassadors and advocates for the FIU community. The council brings industry needs into the classroom while helping FIU build community networks, promote the FIU brand, and develop strategic fundraising and civic goals, according to FIU’s website.

 “As a FIU College of Law alumnus, I have seen firsthand the university’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and community impact,” Diaz said. “I look forward to working closely with the other council members to strengthen the bridge between the business community and academia and to help advance FIU’s mission and goals.”

A member of the Litigation Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office, Diaz represents clients in federal and state courts. He is experienced in all stages of litigation, from drafting complaints through dispositive motions, discovery, settlement, trial, and post-trial proceedings. He also represents clients during internal corporate investigations and advises clients regarding several regulatory compliance issues.

Dedicated to serving the broader Florida legal community, Diaz is also a member of the Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) and was selected as a fellow for the “Leadership, Education, And Development (L.E.A.D.) with CABA” program.
