SAN DIEGO – June 24, 2025 – Kelly Dobbs Bunting, Mikaela Shaw Masoudpour and Lily M. McNulty will present at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)’s 2025 conference held June 29 – July 2 in San Diego.
On June 29, the three attorneys will be presenting “Accommodation How-To: Granting, Denying and Documenting Employee Accommodation Requests.” Panelists will discuss how to handle accommodation requests, give practical advice, and show examples of the changes in laws affecting accommodation decisions. They will also discuss potential red flags and dealing with denials.
On June 30, Bunting will be presenting “Global Gag Order? Workplace Speech Around the World.” She will discuss legal protections workers have globally, and when and how U.S.-based HR could discipline or terminate employees. She will also discuss best practices for global companies with employees based outside of the United States.
Bunting, a shareholder in the Philadelphia office, has considerable experience defending class and collective wage and hour litigation and misclassification claims, having defended employers in Title III ADA access litigation and litigation alleging race, sex, pregnancy, age, disability discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. She is deeply experienced in virtually all aspects of employment litigation, including wage and hour, labor, Title VII, harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, non-competition and non-solicitation, trade secrets, Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Dodd Frank whistleblower claims, Conscientious Employee Protection Act , Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, and failure to accommodate issues. Bunting has represented many clients in mediation and settlement negotiations, and created HR and compliance training modules. Masoudpour, a shareholder in both the Denver and Chicago offices, is a trusted advisor to employers on a broad range of high-profile employment matters.
