TAMPA, Fla. – Aug. 6, 2025 – Irina Khasin, a shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A.’s Tampa office, was selected as a member of the 2026 Leadership Tampa class by the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce. Leadership Tampa comprises community leaders who represent a diverse array of industries across the region, including law, finance, health care, real estate, media, marketing, and defense.
Over the course of nine months in the intensive executive leadership program, members will deepen their understanding of the Tampa Bay business environment, foster connections, and help shape the future of local leadership and growth, according to the organization. The class will engage in 14 specialized sessions focused on topics such as education, media, first responders, and the arts.
Khasin is a trial lawyer who focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, white collar criminal defense, and government investigations. She has tried more than 30 jury trials as first chair and has been involved in dozens of investigations, many of which included complex fraud matters.
Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Khasin served for 11 years as a prosecutor—four years as an assistant United States attorney at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia and seven years as an Assistant District Attorney for the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant United States Attorney, she led Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Taskforce investigations and prosecutions; served as Opioid Overdose Death coordinator; prosecuted complex fraud, human trafficking, child exploitation, and violent crimes; and advised and assisted agents in preparing search warrants and conducting long-term investigations.
