The New York State Budget for Fiscal Year 2024 has finally passed the Legislature -- a month after the April 1 deadline -- and signed into law. The budget attempted to address issues important to New Yorkers such as the minimum wage, bail guidelines, the environment, and our subways and buses, while other issues such as affordable housing development fell by the wayside.
