BOSTON – Jan. 27, 2022– Mian R. Wang, a Litigation shareholder in the Boston office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak on the Boston Bar Association webinar “Friday Fundamentals Series: Do’s and Don’ts of Depositions” Jan. 28 at noon.
Wang and her fellow panelist will share considerations for preparing for depositions, objecting while defending a deposition, and questioning deponents.
Wang focuses her practice on business litigation. She represents public and private companies, financial institutions, directors, officers, and individuals before state and federal courts in commercial and bankruptcy litigation. Wang has broad experience handling matters related to breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, preference claims, Uniform Commercial Code secured transactions, negligence, wire fraud, and unfair and deceptive trade practices disputes. Her practice covers multiple disciplines and industries, including education, health care, event management, startup firms, financial institutions, and commercial finance and asset management firms. Wang has been recognized as an “Emerging Women Leaders in the Law” by the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts, was named among the “40 Under 40” in 2020 by the Boston Business Journal, and was selected as an “Up & Coming Lawyer” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
